The studio

Twenty-five years at the easel

Buddha Art & Painting is a working studio in Shastri Nagar, Jammu. Sanjogita Dogra has painted here for more than twenty-five years, and four artists paint alongside her — each with five to twenty years of their own at the easel.

Nothing on this site is held in stock. You choose the subject, the medium and the size; the canvas is started after your order and is usually with you in eight to ten days.

Relief art

Painting you can feel

Relief work is built up off the canvas in layers — modelling paste, beads, paper, metal leaf — then painted over by hand. It catches the light differently through the day, which is why it belongs on a wall you walk past, not one you only glance at.

How your painting is made

  • One — you choose

Pick the design, the medium — acrylic, oil or relief — and the size. If none of the listed sizes fits your wall, the calculator prices any dimension you like.

    Price any size

  • Two — we paint it

Your canvas is painted by hand in the Jammu studio, start to finish. Most orders are finished and dispatched within eight to ten days.

  • Three — it arrives

Up to 48 inches we stretch the canvas on a wooden frame, ready to hang. Anything larger travels rolled in a tube. Insured, tracked, delivered across India.

Why buy from the studio itself

  • Straight from the studio

The people who paint it are the people who sell it and ship it. No gallery margin, no reseller in between.

  • Made only for you

Every canvas is started after the order is placed, so no two leave the studio identical — including two of the same design.

  • Any size, priced openly

Tell us the dimensions and the calculator prices it on the spot. Nothing is quietly rounded up behind the scenes.

  • Insured to your door

Prepaid orders only, packed for transit and insured. If it arrives damaged, we repaint it or refund you.
