Collection: Relief Art

Relief work is built up off the canvas in layers — modelling paste, beads, newsprint, metal leaf — then painted over by hand. It catches the light differently through the day, which is why it belongs on a wall you walk past rather than one you only glance at.

Three designs are relief only: Krishna with beads, the red poppies, and the Buddha face diptych. Relief adds 32% over the acrylic price and takes the same 8–10 days.
