Returns
Every painting we sell is made to order. When you place an order, one of our artists paints that piece by hand, in the medium and the size you chose, in our studio in Jammu. It is made for you and cannot be sold to anyone else.
For that reason we do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, and an order cannot be cancelled once painting has begun.
Damaged in transit
If your painting arrives damaged, we replace it. No argument, no restocking fee. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the outer packaging and of the painting, and we will repaint and reship the piece at our cost.
You see your painting before it ships
We photograph every finished painting and send you the picture before it leaves the studio. If something is not right, that is the moment to tell us — we would far rather correct it before dispatch than after.
Natural variation is not a defect
Because a person paints each piece by hand, your painting will be 85–90% identical to the artwork shown, with 10–15% natural variation in brushwork and texture. That variation is the proof that no machine touched it, and it is not grounds for return.
How your painting arrives
All work is supplied as canvas, unframed. Pieces up to 48 inches are stretched on wooden bars. Above 48 inches the canvas is rolled in a protective tube, which is far safer in transit and can be stretched by any local framer.
Payment
We are prepaid only. We do not offer cash on delivery, because a painting made to one customer’s order cannot be resold if it is refused at the door.
